ACM Global Laboratories Names New Director of Scientific Affairs
Dr. Hassana Fathallah brings scientific expertise to ACM Global’s Scientific Affairs Team
Rochester, NY, June 7, 2016 – ACM Global Laboratories, a diagnostic central laboratory delivering high-quality testing services that optimize clinical trial outcomes, is pleased to announce that Dr. Hassana Fathallah, has been named to the position of Director, Scientific Affairs, with responsibility for overseeing scientific affairs at ACM’s global laboratories. In this role, Dr. Fathallah will address clinical trials client needs, support the PM and proposals teams to streamline processes, coordinate global correlation studies and collaborate with the laboratory operations and clinical trials teams to support growth in the clinical trials division.
Hassana earned her BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Paris XI. After completing her PhD in 1997, she moved to the US for a postdoctoral fellowship in Gene Therapy at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York where she moved up the ladder to instructor and later to assistant professor in the Division of Hematology/Oncology. In 2009, Hassana joined the University of Cincinnati as a faculty member in the department of Medicine where she also held the position of Scientific Director for the Cancer Institute Tumor Bank and the Director for the Translational Research Core. As a director, Hasana successfully led diverse national and international teams and developed scientific and technical laboratory services. She has several publications in hematology/oncology related to hemoglobin disorders and solid tumors.
